Looking at the price of the headphones that can go with Nokia E71 kills me.

I regret not taking care of my earphones better, and when I get the new one, I am so going to 呵護 it like it is my wonderful treasure or something. Which technically, it will be if I spend so much of my savings on it. Byebye to my savings since the start of the year (which really isn't a lot because Hwachong makes me eat a lot during all free times available)

I knew this day would come -.- One side of the earphone was extremely damaged due to -ahem- rough handling. Doesn't take long for one of the protruding wires to get broken and kill my earphone's sound. And from this, you can tell how badly I abused my earphones. Gawd.

I'm praying I find my earphones tomorrow. I can't survive without my music for more than a day.

Why did the Nokia store at Causeway have to close? Now I have to go running to various parts of Singapore to try my luck.

---

Talking more about my earphones make me depressed. Seriously, I need something to keep myself more normal. Who gets depressed over earphones? ><

But then again, Aaron's new songs are uber nice. ♥ Even if they all seem quite emo to me.

---

I need to keep awake more. Seriously, I sleep everywhere. Like even standing on the MRT. It's amazing how a few weeks can train me to do that. And yeah, lectures and tutorials included. Except maybe for history tutorials so far. And maybe during break time. And yesterday, I finally tried sleeping at the class bench. Worked quite well >< I lack sleeeep.

Sleeping feels anti-social.

But other than too constant sleeping, school is going quite well, I suppose. I feel that I have more life anyway.

I feel very in the mood to blog nowadays.

Today was Fac CIP, went to Hort Park to help entertain elderly.

Somehow, I don't really get the point of CIP when both parties are not very willing to be doing it. CIP should be something you do out of the kindness of your heart, to help someone who would need and appreaciate that help. Hort Park has pretty wonderful scenery, but when the sun is enough to make you sweat so much, the temptation of going for a stroll decreases by a lot. Sometimes, Flag Days would be so much more effective.

Class dinner after that. My mom was complaining about how long it took for me to eat dinner and come back haha. I'm crossing fingers that the wonderful container we bought can be successfully put at the class bench. It's quite huge xD

And I just realised I still have a ton of homework left. PW, CSC newspaper article reflections (my printer just ran out of ink -.-), History, Econs. Why is there so much holiday homework anyway?!

---

And just one song I heard today which I haven't heard in a long time. It's one happy song that actually is quite innocent. And I ♥ it!

请打开你心灵的窗户
有权利做梦就有义务
天天进步是最大的财富

Actually kind of makes sense. I mean, in life, we need to open our hearts up to really appreciate what we have, and the fact that we are all living on this wonderful planet. No matter how many natural disasters are happening, there is still much to be grateful for. Improvements come about when we have the heart to improve our lives, and have a much more meaningful life. So yes, why not dream big, do big stuff? Ultimately, the person who benefits the most is ourselves, not anyone else. You can make contributions to society in one way or another along the way, but the sense of achievement you get out of it probably will be irreplaceable.

That was an attempt to make my blog look more cool.

Today was a wonderful day in general! ♥

Reasons, I shall keep it to myself xD

But then of course, Fahrenheit plays a big part.

I feel the most productive today compared to the entire holidays.

One question of history, one question of PW.

Took a long time, but looking at it gives me a sense of achievement.

Except tomorrow, I will need to go shorten time doing it and concentrate on them to finish by Tuesday :O

But yeah, I feel productive!

And happy! :D

Today was a meaningful day!

This is a random blog post since I'm going to get addicted to blogging anyway.

And on the way to getting addicted.

Increasing trend of blogging nowadays.

Getting affected by people. Not to say it isn't good. Except I kind of pity you if you're reading this weird post that has no meaning whatsoever except to exclaim my high-ness today.

Unless of course you share my high-ness today xD

---

And to end it off, something that I miss listening to today. It's weird to not be watching anything today.

守在你的 左右 最单纯的念头
我好想从你眼中找到我
能扞卫的温柔
躲进我的 宇宙 最安全的星球
当所有流星远离了天空
成为你的 最忠诚星座

♥

Thoughts of doing PW tomorrow somehow do not depress me. Yet.

Founder's Day is tomorrow.

It actually feels kind of weird, that it is so early in the year. I mean, considering that we've been celebrating it on 15 August each year for 4 entire years, it does feel kind of strange.

I miss Nanyang, but Hwa Chong seems nice too so far.

The next phase of life, everything seems so different, yet somewhat familiar.

And I still have no idea why I chose to go into the Arts Stream, unless wanting to do both Economics and History counts as a reason.

I need to start being more productive. Holidays are ending, tomorrow is fac CIP and my PW is untouched.

It's quite amazing how, when you don't look for it, you come across quotes/paragraphs like this that tells you something about life.

After rain comes shines, 雨過天晴, this is something we all take for granted in nature, giving rise to people eternally praying for sunshine when the rain affects whatever we want to do in the open. But then more often than not, heavy rain can last for a few hours, when we least want it to.

The theory is easy, but like Science, all practicals are filled with risk (even if seemingly non-existent, I always thought that practicals were kind of scary) and not as easy. One example is dissection.

But yeah, something to consider.

Math is still depressing. But history makes it better. Wayy better.

"Life is a pure flame, and we live by an invisible sun within us." - Sir Thomas Brown
---
This quote is really a meaningful one.
I seem to be starting a lot of my blog posts with quotes.
But sometimes, there's just this quote that fits perfectly your mood and actions now.
This is one of the times.
---
What exactly do we all live for?
Nowadays, I've been feeling quite unproductive, and in a sense, just feeling really empty.
I'm having a nice time in school, in lessons, at home.
But there's something that nothing I learn or do has any huge meaning to me.
And one of the best things to turn to is to go deep into our heart, ask what we truly want out of life.
Because it is only when we know that, that we can start living and motivating ourselves to truly be ourselves and lead the lives that we want.
We do not live for others, much as the world has so many expectations of each and every single one of us.
Life is short.
Why not cherish it and do what you want with it?
And even if sometimes, you do end up trying to adhere to people's expectations, at least at some point in your life, for some parts of life, you feel like you live a fulfilling existence.

March holidays started.
For 2 days already.
And really, can't say much about it.
Much as somehow I know that my March hols will be occupied, I have no idea how it will be like.
Because somehow, I think we are really screwed for OM.
It doesn't help that I think back on the past few weeks, and I feel very unproductive.
I go for lectures, I sleep.
I go for tutorials, I sleep in front of the teacher.
What is becoming of me? ><
Much as I try to stay awake, and sometimes quite successfully, I still don't feel like I have learnt anything.
That's why I really need to buck up.
Somehow.
That and I need to give myself more sleep.
It kind of sucks to just go back home and collapse on the sofa, dao-ing everything else.
Much as I think that I am not surviving very well, there seems to be a lot of people everywhere worse off than me.
So one thing to do: be happier.

Japan's earthquake came as a shock.
And the fact of how horrible it was started to sink in today when you start reading about the nuclear stuff.
Please let everyone be safe.
